Metal Fabrication & Assembly

TDM is dedicated to providing the best quality of work possible for your custom fabrication project. With over 685+ combined years of experience in welding and manufacturing, we will prove that we are the best choice for the job.

Through our highly skilled engineering and design process, we produce specialty products focusing in workmanship and quality. No matter the size of your project, we will always focus on small details and hands-on quality care.

We like to consider ourselves a very unique and dynamic fabrication company, in the sense that we are a highly agile team in adjusting ourselves to the unique qualifications of each customer.

TDM’s growth has consisted of adding various machines and processes to our shop in order to continue to take on more capacity of projects while also keeping lead-times at our well-known minimum.

Engineering

Engineering services are included in your project. We are equipped with a fantastic engineering team who utilizes CAD (computer-aided design), FEA (finite element analysis), and CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) and they will provide their expertise to help with completing your requirements.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is a technology utilized for various types of materials in which complex elements require precision and quick processing. Lasers are able to create narrow kurfs which result in extremely precise cuts. At TDM, it was important for us to invest in this machining process in order to provide a product with zero distortion

Almost every kind of metal is able to be cut by laser application; however, mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum are the most common applications.

When comparing laser cutting to similar alternatives, it is usually the most cost-effective option for your custom project.
We make sure to correctly verify the exact cutouts of your project by advanced engineering technologies. With our highly advanced laser process, we can assure that lead times are always at a minimum when compared to alternatives.

Metal Forming

Following our laser process, we move our focus to providing special shaping with our high performance press brake. Precision forming and metal bending require specific materials and expertise in order to deliver the product per customer request. Press braking is able to form predetermined bends by clamping the work piece between a matching punch and die.

At TDM, we invest in the highest quality of machines in order to ensure highly satisfied work and delivery.

With a variety of dies, we are able to produce complex components such as (but not limited to):

  • C&C precision one-piece design

  • Three-dimensional bracketry

  • Laser and punch formed louvers

  • Machine guards

  • Pendant holders and pockets

Welding

With our heavily experienced weld and fabrication team, TDM is able to work quickly while delivering top-quality. We utilize both MIG and TIG welding to be able to weld various metals.

Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), sometimes referred to by its subtypes metal inert gas (MIG) welding or metal active gas (MAG) welding, is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join.

Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.

Custom Finishing

Unlike much of our competition, we offer all in-house custom paint and powder coating - your one stop destination for every step of your custom project. We work with you to pick the perfect color and finish for the durability of your project's lasting appearance.

While there are many benefits to our in-house finishing process, some key benefits include shorter lead times, ability to control costs, and 100% control over your project with a single manufacturer.
